We stopped in for dinner. Ordered fried chicken. Small and clean with friendly service but diner allowed smoking inside and also is a cash only place.

Always have wonderful food and wonderful service. My family has known the owner for a long time and it is our go to place to eat. Sometimes they aren't as fast at service as I would like. However, it is one of the only drive in eateries left in my small town. They may not have fast service but they have excellent food and I would much rather have that then fast service.

This place is right off 25E right before the city of Pineville. It's like stepping back in time to a small diner. The place only has about 10 tables. Me and my family got the last table there was. It's also a drive-in though. So you can pull up and wait and they'll come and take your order from your car as well. Me and my husband had foot longs and they were pretty good. Nothing out of this world. Their onion rings were good and they had the basic crinkle cut French fries. Service was good. Sweet tea was good. We also grabbed some milkshakes on our way out. I had the butterscotch milkshake and it was delicious. Their larges are like a small at fast food chains, so keep that in mind. Everything was really cheap as well. The biggest thing to keep in mind is: THEY DO NOT ACCEPT DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS. When we were there, a man had to drive to an ATM to pay for his meal.

Grew up eating @ this place. Must be an acquired taste, because I now live in Michigan & every time I go south I have to stop here, but my family & all other northerners that I have taken here just really "HATE" it all except their fountain cherry cokes, which are the old fashion kind w/ the cherry grenadine. The "BEST" hotdogs & grilled cheese you will "EVER" eat! This place is really a hit w/ locals. If you are ever in the area, it's worth a try. You don't even have to get out of your car, they car hop, or you can eat inside? Service is good, but don't expect any smiles!
